The Manager of IT Applications Development for Restaurant Systems will be responsible for the selection, administration, configuration, implementation, and support of all the technology/systems in their portfolio of 50+ restaurants. This will include existing applications, as well as newly developed or purchased applications. The Manager of Apps Development will work with other members of the IT organization, Restaurant Operations and Support Center functions to understand the business need and evaluate how those needs and capabilities fit within the existing application infrastructure or identify gaps where new technology is needed. Some primary responsibilities are listed below:

  • Manage point of sale technology/configuration which is currently Micros with plans on upgrading to Simphony.
  • Manage Wine Club and loyalty experiences that are supported by Restaurant Systems.
  • Manage Reservation Management, Staffing and Labor and Online Order tools/processed utilized by Team Members.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach team members assigned to the Restaurant Systems team.
  • Manage projects and tasks assigned in the Restaurant Systems team.
  • Evaluate business and technology requirements to determine the best fit within the enterprise application stack.
  • Be the subject matter expert on existing applications and integration within the Cooper’s Hawk technology footprint.
  • Work with the business to maximize capabilities of existing applications via training sessions and vendor connections.
  • Evaluate alternative applications and solutions to meet business capabilities and requirements.
  • Identify integration needs between applications and work with vendors and other IT team members to implement.
  • Partner with business analyst and users to understand business requirements for administration, configuration, and support for maintenance or enhancement of existing systems.
  • Identify gaps in existing technology based on business capability roadmaps and determine the best way to fill the gap using existing or new applications.
