Level 2 Technical Consultant

Magnitech is seeking a Level 2 Technical Consultant. The Level 2 Technical Consultant candidate will provide remote and onsite technical support as escalation for Magnitech clients. They will serve the existing client base by identifying problems and forming solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering reactive service tickets, servicing clients onsite and working on projects. Must be good with people, and able to work both independently, as well as in a team setting. Some required strengths:

  • Ability to perform public speaking and presentations on Magnitech products and services.
  • Interpersonal skills, such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment.
  • Ability to keep up on necessary ongoing industry related training.
  • Ability to create ConnectWise tickets, companies, contacts, and activities.
  • 100% knowledge of ConnectWise Manage.
  • 100% knowledge of ConnectWise Automate (formerly known as LabTech).
  • 100% knowledge of ConnectWise Control (formerly known as ScreenConnect).
  • 100% knowledge of Webroot SecureAnywhere.
  • 100% knowledge of Webroot DNS Filtering.
  • 100% knowledge of MaaS360 Mobile Device Management.
  • Must have strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
