PRC is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant for the Computer Literacy Program to support the administrative operations and ensure efficient and effective delivery of service. Main essential functions are listed below. Click on Apply Now for full details and instructions how to apply.

  • Provide administrative support to computer training volunteer instructors and students including but not limited to:
    a. Scheduling and reserving rooms and Zoom meetings.
    b. Maintaining adequate supply of materials and books.
    c. Assisting clients with completing initial paperwork and screening steps, when applicable.
  • Maintain student learning-centered curriculum and instructor training materials including finalizing documents, copying, distributing and filing.
  • Assist in qualification and registration of clients seeking Computer Training classes and MOS Certification classes, providing referrals as needed.
  • Receive and respond to all computer training program inquiries.
  • Support implementation of MOS Certification classes:
    a. Proctor MOS certification exams as needed.
    b. Receive and track MOS volunteer instructor and student issues (including technical issues) and inquiries and appropriately respond to ensure continuation of service.
    c. Assist with upkeep and maintenance of laptops and computer equipment used for MOS training and testing to keep software up to date.
  • Coordinate ordering of approved instructional and office materials – placing order, managing invoicing, receipt and tracking.
  • Maintain computer training volunteer and student data to ensure high level of data accuracy, integrity and quality.
    a. Input volunteer and student data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
    b. Assist in identifying and performing regular data maintenance tasks to ensure integrity of data.
    c. Produce reports and alert staff of data inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining and communicating program’s information materials for clients and volunteers.
  • Coordinate program recognition and training activities including but not limited to Pizza Parties, Student Certificates and Class visits.
  • Identify, implement and document program procedures to ensure efficient and effective systems and processes are in place to deliver quality service.
