• Communicate with customers regarding Inspection methods, gauges, Non-destructive and destructive testing specifications, and/or clarification of specifications or drawing issues.
• Identify and document customer product specifications and inspection criteria on AF Inspection Plans.
• Identify inspection measurement requirements for new products as a member of NPI Team. Regularly attend Design Review Meetings for new products.
• Evaluate potential failure modes and risk assessments while documenting PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
• Train operators and inspectors on the use of inspection gauging identified in Inspection Plans.
• Perform Internal and Process Audits. Facilitate Corrective and Preventive Actions.
• Create work instructions and procedures in support of the AS9100D Quality Management System.
• Interact with operators to gather input and feedback on product quality and inspection methods.
• Participate in Kaizen continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts within company.

The Production Supervisor leads a team of operators in the finishing departments (finish machining, shipping, etc.).
