ATTENTION: LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS, BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVES, LABOR ORGANIZATIONS, EDUCATORS, VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION AGENCIES, COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS, AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES:
Pursuant to the requirements of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998, the DuPage County Workforce Development Division is presenting a notice of modification to incorporate WIA Title 1 Adult, and Dislocated Worker reallocated funds from PY2010 TO PY2011. The amount of reallocated funds received to serve DuPage County residents and businesses is $1,525,753 for Adults, $2,162,557 for Dislocated Workers. Along with Youth funds of $1,704,391, the total funds through June 30, 2012 are $5,392,701.
The modification proposes to use the funding received to provide job seekers with the tools necessary for successful employment and to assist local businesses in strengthening their workforce.
