By obtaining a workNet DuPage Career Center Service Card, you will gain access to the following services:

Resource Room
The Resource Room offers free access to computers/Internet, copiers, fax machines, and printers. Job seekers can receive assistance with their internet job search, online filing for unemployment benefits, Illinois workNet, etc.
The Resource Room also contains an extensive collection of books on resume writing, interviewing, job search strategy, job retention, and professional development. Videos, newspapers, and business directories are also available. Click here to download a complete list of available titles.
The Resource Room is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. |

Friday Job Club
Friday Job Club is held on the last Friday of every month, from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon. It is an opportunity to network with other job seekers and share job lead information. Business or community speakers periodically present on special topics. Space is limited to 85 attendees.

Recruiting Events and Job Fairs
Friday Job Fairs are held at our Center periodically from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Typically, recruiters from 6-8 different employers/organizations are in attendance, and these recruiters represent a diverse blend of industries and job needs. Job Readiness Workshops for Individuals with Disabilities
Job Readiness Workshops for individuals with disabilities are offered by Parents Alliance Employment Project to teach the skills necessary for entering the workforce and maintaining employment. These workshops will help people with disabilities gain a sense of self-confidence, motivation, a positive attitude, and job search skills. On-Site Access to Supportive Services
Access to Information and Applications For Supportive Services can be obtained from Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) representatives on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Individuals can meet with a representative to access information on food stamps, medical assistance, and cash assistance. Applications can be completed on-site. |
